Advanced Rider - BMX Certification

Advanced Rider - BMX Certification

BMX racing requires a high level of technical ability to execute a track safely and competently. The
technical level of competency requirements is increased depending on speed and course design.
The Advanced Rider Certification has been developed to ensure riders are ready for racing on any
BMX track with an Advanced Section (as outlined in Table 1). Noting that advanced sections vary
from track to track, the following are considered Advanced Sections:

• Designated Pro Straights; or
• 8m SX Hill

These sections require a higher level of technical, physical and mental ability, to execute them safely
and competently.
