Club Membership over $25 for adult and under $25 for juniors.
Set up two separate membership products in the system so
adult members and junior members only see the correct option based on age. This
SOP also ensures the senior product is restricted correctly and the junior
product includes the required upsell fee.

Key Steps
1. Restricting Adult membership 0:19

- Open
the existing race membership product.
- Copy
the information from the About this membership section.
- Use
this copied content later when creating the new product so the setup stays
consistent.
- Confirm
the base product pricing and structure before making changes.
2. Restrict the senior membership to older members only
1:22

- Leave
the main membership details unchanged except for the age restriction.
- Add
a purchase rule for the senior membership.
- Set
the rule to block anyone under 18 from purchasing this membership.
- In
this setup, treat 18-year-olds as part of the junior group, so the
senior product should only be visible to members aged 19 and over.
- Make
sure it is based on Current Date
- Save
the rule once the restriction is configured.
3. Create the junior membership product 2:30

- Create
a brand-new membership product for juniors.
- Name
it something identifiable in the backend, such as Race Junior.
- Paste
the copied About this membership content into the new product.
- Match
the color and other visual settings to the original product if needed.
- Ensure
the product classification links it to the correct parent membership
category.
- If
no product categorization is set the member will not receive an AusCycling
Membership
4. Link the junior product to the correct membership
classification 3:07

- Verify
that the product classification is set correctly.
- Link
the junior product to the same underlying membership structure so it
connects properly in the background.
- Confirm
the junior product will function as the club-level version of the
membership.
- This
step ensures the system recognizes the product relationship correctly.
5. Set junior pricing and age-based visibility 3:26

- Set
the junior membership price to $0 if the club-level membership is
under the $25 threshold.
- Add
a purchase restriction so the product is only available to members younger
than 19.
- Use
the current date as the reference date for the age rule.
- Save
the restriction so only eligible junior members can see and purchase it.
6. Add the required upsell fee to the junior membership
4:04

- Add
the upsell product fee of $15 to the junior membership.
- Mark
the fee as required.
- In
settings, enable pre-ticked and subscription mandatory so
the fee renews automatically each year.
- Save
the configuration after confirming the upsell is attached correctly.
7. Review the final product list and ordering 4:24

- Confirm
that both products now appear in the race category:
- Senior
membership
- Junior
membership
- Verify
that each product is restricted to the correct age group.
- Move
the senior product to the top if needed so the products display in the
correct order when users log in.
- Perform
a final check to ensure members only see the membership option relevant to
their age.
Cautionary Notes
- Be
careful with the age cutoff: in this setup, 18-year-olds are included
in the junior group, so the senior product should effectively be for 19+.
- Make
sure the purchase restrictions are applied to the correct product;
otherwise, members may see the wrong option.
- Confirm
the upsell fee is marked required and subscription mandatory
so it renews properly each year.
- Double-check
the product classification link so the membership connects correctly in
the background.
